This work begins in the body, moves through the story, and honours the world you carry within you.

I have always known my work would be about people: about healing, about what lives beneath the surface. Grounded in a degree in social work and psychotherapy, I meet you as a whole being. Your body, your story, your inner life. All of it belongs here.

I work where the physical and emotional meet, where movement and stillness can be just as healing as words. Yoga is woven into how I hold space, not as something separate from the inner work, but as a path back to yourself.

My approach weaves together psychodynamic understanding, existential inquiry, and an intersectional lens. Healing here is not just personal. It is also relational, embodied, and real.

The name

Zep Tepi · the first ground

the first time · the moment of emergence

In the old cosmology of Egypt, before there was anything, there were only the formless waters of Nun: dark, boundless, holding every possibility unborn. And then a single mound of earth rose from the deep. The first solid ground. The place where life could begin.

The Egyptians called that moment zep tepi, the first time. Not a beginning that happened once, but one re-enacted with every sunrise, every return, every time something new rises out of what felt like chaos.

This is what Open Ground means to me. The work we do together is a kind of zep tepi: finding the first stable place to stand inside what feels formless, so that, gently, in your own time, something can begin again.

Healing begins when we stop fighting what we feel and start listening to what the body already knows.

ACT & Yin

A Journey Inward

This ten-week journey weaves together Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and yin yoga into a deep, embodied practice of self-exploration.

Each session combines guided teaching with the slow, grounding presence of yin yoga, creating a safe space to meet yourself with curiosity rather than judgment.

You will develop tools to relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions, while the body becomes a place of return rather than resistance.

For those ready to slow down, go inward, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Kambo

Kambo is a powerful ancestral medicine that calls the body back to itself. Held in a safe and ceremonial space, we work with this sacred frog medicine to release what no longer serves: physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Sessions are offered with deep care, preparation, and integration support.
